Sometimes I like to explore philosophical themes and complex visual aesthetics in my videos. This was not one of those times.

Back in 2007 I was starting to get freelance work, which meant I had to be careful about sourcing all the images I used. A friend of mine took loads of photos and said I could use them, which was cool. They were mostly photos of cows, but I figure if life gives you cows then make a video with loads of cows in it.

Animation Mix
This was a compilation of all the gifs I made from 2004-2006. I didn’t think anything of it when I put it on youtube, but it became my most popular video and got me a lot of work. It also got deleted from my channel for breaching “community guidelines”.

Vertigo
A Belgian tv advert I made in 2007 maybe, I don’t seem to have it on my computer any more. This was my introduction to the wonderful world of advertising, where a week’s worth of work somehow ends up taking a whole month because everyone who isn’t making it keeps asking for little changes. Not that I’m complaining when I’m getting paid for my time, of course.

Sumo tv
Back when I started freelancing I got a lot of work from Sumo TV, mostly doing channel idents and title sequences. I’m still not sure what Sumo TV actually was. Some kind of obscure cable channel I guess.
