This was a fun job. The brief was to make it look like someone had gone crazy using every effect in their video editing software. Making stuff look bad on purpose often ends up being more of a challenge than doing it properly.

Genius Titles
A title sequence I made for Dave Gorman’s tv show “Genius”. Its one of the few projects where I made a full storyboard for it. I do still storyboard stuff occasionally but its rarely this detailed.

Cows & Cows & Cows
I was walking through a field one day and met a cow. “Mooo!” I said to the cow. It looked up at me for a moment before going back to eating grass, blissfully unaware that I had filmed the whole encounter.
So I had a video of a cow moving its head up and down, and it gradually turned into a whole video somehow. I only spent like 2 and a half weeks making it, just something to fill up my youtube channel. But it completely blew up the internet. Sometimes I wonder if anything in my life is real.

Cycles
After moving to Worthing I decided to immortalise the seaside town in a video, and this was the result. Not sure why teddybears had to be involved. I made that bear for another project that never happened, so I guess I just wanted to do something with it.

Meow
I decided to try something in a different style, so I teamed up with illustrator friend Sarah Brown. The video took about 6 weeks, which was the longest I’d ever worked on a video at that time. Its also the only video I’ve ever added a content warning to. That didn’t stop a generation of kids being traumatised by it of course. Oh well. Somebody has to give children nightmares, right?
