Brucie!

The destructive  adventures of Bruce Forsyth.

For non brits: Brucie is an ancient bewigged presenter on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, a BBC show about celebrities dancing badly or something. This animation was commissioned by the BBC last year, but for some reason they waited til long after the tv show ended to release it….

They say timing is everything in comedy

I’ve seen your stuff on the internet all over the place, but never knew it was you till I caught your credited work on one of the Nostalgia Critic’s webisodes (www.thatguywiththeglasses.com). Your work is amazing! This video, “Brucie!”, was the tiniest bit unsettling ( a part I love about your vids! ) and I couldn’t stop watching it. It’s unpredictable, interesting, and keeps your attention! I can’t decide if it’s long enough or just right. I’m not surprised you’ve been approached by the BBC for work, since everything I’ve seen that you’ve done recently is such high quality. If you’re not making a comfortable wage doing this stuff, then it’s time to think bigger. It’s pretty crazy you do the music as-well ( I make electronica too. Do you use Reason at all? ). Anyway, that’s a lot of talking, and reading back, I sound like a fanboy :/ Basically, I’m blown away by the work and keep it up!

I’m definitely seeing something influenced by Monty Python here. The music and animation work perfectly together – and it takes skill to play music like that. This is awesomeness of the highest magnitude.

Have you considered Brucie doing Boogie Maths? I imagine such a thing to be highly destructive ;)
