I had this weird idea of making an animation without actually animating anything. “That’ll save me some time” I thought. But of course it didn’t. Any time saved on a project is immedately swallowed up by the desire to make it more complicated. All the movement in this video is created by me turning a wheel on various lego contraptions. The music was made along similar lines, using pots and pans and rubber bands and whatever else I could find. There is some digital compositing to piece it all together, and some stop motion on the “user interface”. An interesting experiment.
